About Stephanie
Stephanie Worrell is a highly sought-after senior consultant who combines her strengths in the areas of public relations, strategic planning, executive coaching and motivational speaking to advise clients across the world primarily in the areas of healthcare, technology and education.
After spending a week in Mexico and admiring the beautiful auburn sunsets, she founded the award-winning Red Sky Public Relations in 2008 where the agency ultimately generated an impressive $5 million annual revenue. Representing leading global brands such as ESPN, Albertsons, St. Luke’s Health System, Avery Dennison and Micron Technology, to name a few, Worrell’s work at this agency didn’t go unnoticed. Red Sky received the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in workplace flexibility and won O’Dwyers Small Agency of the Year that same year.
In 2013, Worrell sold Red Sky and continued her work in public relations as a consultant until December of 2017 when she became the General Manager of the Boston WE Communications office and a Senior Vice President in the global health sector. She ensured that the Boston team worked cohesively across all agency sectors, including globally, while providing communications guidance to clients and staff.
Worrell pushed the Boston team forward by overseeing client PR strategy, driving office revenue growth and increasing agency visibility throughout the region. These successes in Worrell’s career continue to strengthen her drive as she’s earning a master’s degree from the University of Southern California in healthcare leadership and executive management. After a two-year stint with WE Communications, Worrell made the decision to return to private consulting and found Sedulo, allowing her focus on supporting a more diverse portfolio of clients. She also teaches graduate-level courses at Boston University’s College of Communications.
When Worrell isn’t working, she treasures her time with her husband, two children and the family pup. She travels back and forth between Boston and Boise – living primarily in Boston with her son to support him in furthering both his hockey and academic career. Stephanie loves the outdoors and enjoys anything from walking long distances to white-water rafting. When she finds herself indoors, she prefers to be cooking up a feast for friends and family.
